We did part of the Southern (to get there from Northumberland), then the West and finally the North. All brilliant, well thought out routes with a mix of fast roads and twisties. I emailed Kona a couple of times and she was very helpful. We would have used the <a href=\"\/?page_id=2555\">accommodation service she offers<\/a> but we had other plans, so stayed just north at Aberfeldy, we used Aberfeldy Campsite which was 10\/10 and close to town for a beer \/ meal at night. We ate the 3 lemons (Bistro food) and KBs Kitchen (Italian), again both brilliant venues within walking distance. Our weather was also stunning getting up 20 degrees in the afternoon and sunny all the time. The GPX routes worked great on OSMAND software but others with Garmin etc, although the routes were correct, the Garmin software kept trying to shorten the route taking bits out for a faster route! So be wary of this.<\/p>\n<p>So finally, seven of us had a brilliant time in a lovely location. The fact the GPX routes were supplied took all of the hassle out of organising a<br \/>\ngroup holiday. Then just do these routes.<br \/>\nA friend and I did these in August &#8217;24 and on the day we did the \u00abNorth Loop\u00bb the weather was perfect and it&#8217;s now been added to one of the best days on the bike l&#8217;ve ever had.<br \/>\nSmall twisty, up-and-down-y single track roads? Check.<br \/>\nBig wide open sweepers? Check.<br \/>\nScenery that makes to take a breath? Check.<br \/>\nCracking coffee shops \/ tea rooms \/ cafes? Check.<br \/>\nEnough petrol stations so you never worry you&#8217;ll run out? Check.<br \/>\nEnd wanting to do it again? Check.<br \/>\nEnough distilleries to buy things to take home? Check.<br \/>\nAs we went to Scotland in August, of course we also had rain, but we did the \u00abWest Loop\u00bb and the rain came and went, but it was still a fanatic day on the bikes.<br \/>\nThe GPX download files were as close to perfect as I can imagine anyone doing &#8211; yes our units did not announce one turn, but a) I really think that was our GPS&#8217;s rather than the routes, and b) By the time we realised, we were having so much fun on yet another great road in that area, a quick check of the GPS showed we&#8217;d join the original route again soon enough, so stayed on the \u00abalternative\u00bb route as it became known.<br \/>\nI can thoroughly recommend the [<a href=\"\/?page_id=2555\">RoomLink<\/a> partner] B&amp;B in Crieff &#8211; could not have been nicer \/ more helpful, and just nice people.<br \/>\nKona really does know this area really well, and the routes are all excellent. The views were amazing and the roads superb, I&#8217;d love to do it all over again.<\/p>\n<p>Kona was brilliant helping me with my GPX issues on my Tomtom and I was soon off on the Twisties. Kona is local to the area and has produced the most fantastic rides with all a biker could ever ask for.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t fancy a 200 mile ride every day, try the <a href=\"\/?page_id=7629\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Little Leaf shorter routes\" rel=\"noopener\">Little Leaf<\/a> rides. I had a go on the Hairy Hairpins Little Leaf ride and it was fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>The accommodation [via <a href=\"\/?page_id=2555\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Crieff Cloverleaf RoomLink service\" rel=\"noopener\">RoomLink<\/a>] was spot on and our hosts were understanding of what bikers require. I live in Cumbria and did half of the south route on the way up and half on the way back. Then 3 days doing N,E and then west. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloverleaf.scot\/sunspot-crieff-cloverleaf-weather-forecasts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">weather update page<\/a> was really useful in helping plan which route to do when. Although it rained on the E and W routes for me was able to get the least wet by following the map. My favourite route was the North loop absolutely stunning. A experience which started already when I was still at home. Kona supported me greatly in fixing the accommodation, answered all my questions exhaustively and provided valuable tips. When I arrived [at a RoomLink guesthouse] I got the best accommodation of the whole trip and a warm welcome by the owner (in my books 5 star plus). The routes were great to ride &#8211; especially north and west &#8211; extremly enjoyable, but caused a great dilemma &#8211; to ride on those roads with no traffic and great curves or to stop and enjoy the stunning scenery. The B&amp;B I stayed in, which is one of the Cloverleaf\u2019s preferred accommodation providers, exceeded my expectations. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and my room was nicer than in the pictures on the web page e.g. a super comfortable bed, pillows and real milk available for the tray in your room.  I\u2019d never been to Crieff before but found there were plenty of places to eat and drink to suit all budgets. I mentioned in a couple of shops that I was a \u2018Cloverleafer\u2019 and they were all very welcoming. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, the Cloverleaf rides. The GPX files worked a treat and took the pressure off the planning. They were very well thought out and included fuel and food stops. Clearly put together by a knowledgeable biker not just someone who\u2019s sat down with a map! I\u2019d really recommend this as a holiday where you stay in one place and get to discover parts of Scotland you wouldn\u2019t necessarily have found yourself. I didn\u2019t need to try out any shorter Cloverleaf rides as the weather was so lovely I did all the longer routes but great to know there was that option if the weather hadn\u2019t been good enough to ride all day. Each one brought a variety of roads &amp; areas to explore.<br \/>\nThe town of Crieff is a great location with plenty of places to stay &amp; dine out.<br \/>\nIt was great to meet up with Kona who is the architect of the whole Crieff Cloverleaf routes &amp; concept. I knew I was off to a good start having enjoyed the Peebles leg of the southern route &#8211; a great way to enter Scotland without the usual tedious motorway slog. My favourite route was the western route (lochs and glens in glorious sunshine), though Glenshee on the northern loop was also fantastic. The eastern ride is more of a traditional Sunday blast through a tamer agricultural Scotland (cereal fields, lush pasture and soft fruit farms &#8211; cranachan country!) to which I added a fish &amp; chip detour to Anstruther. Even though I was there over a bank holiday weekend, I was surprised at the relative lack of traffic, even through Glencoe where the car parks were busy. Did some Little Leaf days with buddies from university days.<br \/>\nComing from South England, I overnighted on Friday in Darlington, then started the trip off with a spin through Kielder Forest, before going over the hills to Moffat to commence with the northbound leg of the south loop.<br \/>\nDid West and North runs on dry &amp; sunny days. East run had low cloud, which made the run round to Perth somewhat damp. Last day was the South loop, south direction.  As a slight enhancement I included the road from Comrie to Braco, then deviated around Carron Water, before picking up the route south to Moffat.  Using the old road (B7076) to Moffat kept me out of the spray on the A74. All types of roads from fast sweepers to single track back roads and everything in-between. Add the brilliant scenery into the mix and you just can&#8217;t go wrong. The routes were a good mix of roads without lots of traffic, whoever sorted these routes did a cracking job &amp; deserves a big pat on the back. Our base for our stay was through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloverleaf.scot\/roomlink\/\">RoomLink<\/a>. The hosts were so welcoming &amp; the hospitality, food, cleanliness &amp; facilities second to none. All rides are well thought out and have a great mix of roads and recommended stops to enjoy the spectacular scenery and great food the area has to offer. Well done for putting them together. We then embarked on the South route. A ride into Stirling is well worth it and a drive past the Kelpies (better in the evening when lit up apparently). The roads throughout the Borders were very quiet. The next day on to the West route, well what can I say, stunning roads, stunning ride, stunning views!!!! So much to see and do I could write an essay but I&#8217;ll let you make your own minds up, defo a must do. Then the last but best route (in my opinion) again too much good stuff to mention, the ride [North] over and around the Cairngorm national park is truly amazing. <\/p>\n<p>We did the NC500 3 years ago explored the routes and more of the Crieff Cloverleaf motorcycle tours. [&hellip;] Crieff is a great location to be based in to explore some of the best roads that Scotland has to offer for those on two wheels. There is a good selection of restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes. The routes were brilliant with a good mix of twisty back roads and long sweeping faster stretches&hellip; All of the roads were in good condition and the setting they are in is simply stunning. The accommodation was fantastic, starting on arrival being greeted with a puck to use. The attention to detail was brilliant.
