Road diversion, Crieff Cloverleaf North, 2023

Good news in September 2023! The bridge works are now complete and the road is open again, bringing you views like the one above. Enjoy!

It’s difficult to track every fleeting road diversion on our routes, particularly on smaller roads, but this one’s lasting a while!

From May 2023 until at least mid-August who-knows-when (grr) 2023, a stretch of road on Leg 3 of Crieff Cloverleaf North has been closed for bridge repairs. (This is a shame as it’s a lovely stretch of adventurous single track!)

Fortunately, there’s a simple short detour available. Instead of coming off the A9 at the junction to the right signposted to Trinafour, continue on to the next main junction to the right, which is signposted to Calvine / Struan / Tummel Bridge / Kinloch Rannoch. This road is the B847, which will take you through to Trinafour where you’ll be back on the Cloverleaf North route.
