Got to thank you for putting together the Cloverleaf. My friends & I have had three days up here & in that time we have done your North, West & East routes.
Absolutely amazing, we will be back to explore some more.

Really enjoyed [the Little Leaf & Hairy Hairpins] earlier today – fantastic routes and we will be back x

Been there – Crieff, that is – & done that. Twice, so far – and yes it IS that good.

Well chosen routes showing some of the finest bits of Scotland. Something on each route for every type of bike.

Brilliant ride. One trip I would recommend doing and I’ll definitely do again.

What an excellent week I had riding your routes. Would and have recommended the Crieff Cloverleaf to my biking mates.

Was just as good as the NC 500 and 75% less traffic.

Did this last year absolutely awesome

4 of us came up on the 9th of October, we did all 4 “leafs”, the North and West were stunning and we will be back next year to do more of those areas and higher up.

You’ve done a cracking job of the routes… some cracking roads some of which [I] didn’t know about. If ya never been to Scotland I can highly recommend this as a look into what’s on offer.

Did 3 out of 4 in May… I knew they were going to be epic. I just didn’t realise how epic. Far exceeded my expectations which were high anyway from the reviews.

In Saffron Wilson’s Scottish trip she mentioned Crieff – that is where we were based for our week this year, and I was wondering if you’d done the Crieff Cloverleaf routes? If not, you really must sample them, we did the four and they are brilliant.

Just spent a few days doing the Cloverleaf routes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I live in Cumbria and did half of the south route on the way up and half on the way back. Then 3 days doing N,E and then west. The weather update page was really useful in helping plan which route to do when. Although it rained on the E and W routes for me was able to get the least wet by following the map. My favourite route was the North loop absolutely stunning. I will be back again when the weather might be drier. Thanks for all the work you’ve done for this site et al, superb job. I have also ordered a sticker pack to remind me of my time.

Decided to grab the opportunity of some fine weather at the beginning of September. Made a very short notice booking via the Crieff Cloverleaf RoomLink service and a few days later I was on my way to Scotland. Spent three days in Crieff and rode the northern and western routes. What can I say that would do these routes justice? Awesome roads and scenery and meticulously planned. If you’re considering this just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Completed it last week all four routes was brilliant totally enjoyed it and a lovely place to stay

I came from Austria (roughly 1,600 miles one way) just to experience the Crieff Cloverleaf. A experience which started already when I was still at home. Kona supported me greatly in fixing the accommodation, answered all my questions exhaustively and provided valuable tips. When I arrived [at a RoomLink guesthouse] I got the best accommodation of the whole trip and a warm welcome by the owner (in my books 5 star plus). The routes were great to ride – especially north and west – extremly enjoyable, but caused a great dilemma – to ride on those roads with no traffic and great curves or to stop and enjoy the stunning scenery. All in all an amazing trip, definitely worth the 3,200 miles travel, recommended to everybody who intends visiting Scotland.

Did the N.E big run around Cairngorms Aug 21, glorious weather, super scenery and NO TRAFFIC!!
Stopped at [a RoomLink guesthouse] in Crieff… niiice.
On one trip we took a deviation for the day to Rannoch Moor railway station, take the B8019 at Pitlochry then onto the B846 at Tummel Bridge all the way to the station.
Sampled an awesome fish finger sarny with mushy peas n coleslaw, fed the finchs and took in the splendor.
On the way back take a right at Tummel bridge and follow road till you come to Aberfeldy.
Absolutely glorious ride away from the madding crowd…
Got back to Aberfeldy at 17:30 and the ambient temp gauge on tiger read 27°!

We did this last year…it’s great riding.

Spot on, several of us did this last year.

I completed the Crieff Cloverleaf just over 2 weeks ago and wanted to share my experience of the trip. The B&B I stayed in, which is one of the Cloverleaf’s preferred accommodation providers, exceeded my expectations. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and my room was nicer than in the pictures on the web page e.g. a super comfortable bed, pillows and real milk available for the tray in your room. I’d never been to Crieff before but found there were plenty of places to eat and drink to suit all budgets. I mentioned in a couple of shops that I was a ‘Cloverleafer’ and they were all very welcoming.

Finally, the Cloverleaf rides. The GPX files worked a treat and took the pressure off the planning. They were very well thought out and included fuel and food stops. Clearly put together by a knowledgeable biker not just someone who’s sat down with a map! I’d really recommend this as a holiday where you stay in one place and get to discover parts of Scotland you wouldn’t necessarily have found yourself. I didn’t need to try out any shorter Cloverleaf rides as the weather was so lovely I did all the longer routes but great to know there was that option if the weather hadn’t been good enough to ride all day. Thank you Crieff Cloverleaf – I’ll be back!

Do It! DO IT. Rode all four loops last week… A Maise Zing!

Did this last year … Absolutely fantastic roads and much better than the NC500. Will probably do it again.

Just come back from doing this, we did all four routes in four days plus a couple of detours. Great days out with stunning views. The weather was superb as well. Can recommend this all day long!

Had a fantastic time doing some of the Cloverleaf routes a couple of weeks ago.

Had a super day out. [Cloverleaf route designer Kona] can drive a bike. What a day.

Had another fantastic day doing the North and some of the East. Superb roads and scenery. Can’t understand why we are riding to France in July, the roads here are brilliant.

These routes are really good, you can tell they’ve been put together by bikers. Will be back in august to do the west loop; and maybe sneak in occasional weekends for repeat trips. Thank you.

Great Roads, Great Company, Great Scenery… I highly recommend the Crieff Cloverleaf…

Done it last year. It was superb. Well recommended.

What a great 4 days riding. Great views. Great roads. It has everything. Nice coffee stops. 10/10 all round. Worth the travel up. Brilliant B&B… booked through this website 10/10. Will travel up and do it again. It was amazing. Weather was good for us too.

Whoever mapped these routes is a genius .. absolutely stunning riding door to door.
The North route in particular is a bikers dream .. well done and thank you for sharing.

If you’ve done or thinking of doing the NC500 then consider this gem of an area. You won’t regret it & no battling with campers & motorhomes.

My wife and i love touring together and brought our Triumph Tiger 900s for a holiday. We’ve just had the most fabulous time riding these routes. Thank you so much for putting them together. A great way to see so much of Scotland. We will be back to do it all again only the other way round!

Where shall I ride today? All the work done for you. Download the maps to your Sat nav and ride. Maps cover some fantastic roads and scenery.

Did it a couple of weeks ago (well N,S and East) loved it, fantastic riding.

Had a brilliant week doing these routes, north and west have to be my favourite

Just back from riding the cloverleaf. Did this solo on my Ducati Monster 797… Had an amazing few days. The roads and scenery are amazing!

Did this last year can’t recommend enough brilliant roads and hardly any traffic.

After a six night stay in Crieff to experience the Cloverleaf, I can highly (HIGHLY) recommend the area & the routes.
We did all the North, East, South & West routes along with a couple of the Little Leaf routes. Each one brought a variety of roads & areas to explore.
The town of Crieff is a great location with plenty of places to stay & dine out.
It was great to meet up with Kona who is the architect of the whole Crieff Cloverleaf routes & concept. Was the icing on the cake to personally thank her for the hard work on what I think will surpass the NC500 on where to go in Scotland.
We can’t wait to return.

Really great riding roads, particularly the Northern Route … B&B was great, perfect base for a biking holiday. Full marks all round!

I can’t recommend the Crieff Cloverleaf highly enough – fantastic roads including old favourites like Glenshee & other narrower hidden gems I’d never have discovered on my own. Considering I was there over a sunny August bank holiday weekend I couldn’t get over how empty the roads were. I was extraordinarily lucky with the weather (in danger of sunburn sat outside the Old Fire Station cafe in Tomintoul drinking tea).

I wanted to say thank you SO MUCH for creating these routes and making them available. We had a truly awesome time and fell wholeheartedly in love with the roads and the landscape in this part of Scotland.

Our thanks to you for your efforts which helped make this one of the best holidays we have ever had in the UK.

Rode three of the main leaves and built the fourth into where I needed to get to. Crieff is in a great position as the basis for lots of rides. Comrie is also a great place to stay and has a great chippie.

Blooming brilliant. Great roads met others doing the same. Fab B & B. Will definitely be back.
Tip: download GPX to sat nav and back up on SD card, so if your sat nav like mine has a turn itself off and lose everything moment, you are covered.

Brilliant holiday, fantastic roads. Loved every minute.

Just get on and do it brilliant roads

Many thanks to all concerned for creating a superb ‘tour when you don’t have to tour’. GPX files are a winner and get you off the beaten track onto the good stuff the locals know about, all together with some of the best scenery, and accommodation was outstanding.

The Crieff Cloverleaf website came up on FB, very interesting and well laid out. We are looking to visit Cellardyke as one side of my family originate from there (Great-great grandfather). With the maps of the routes, and the accommodation laid out, it simplifies the search. Will look forward to using it.

Just got back after a week doing the Cloverleaf we had an amazing time, the weather was very kind, would absolutely recommend this to anyone… Also the food in Crieff is top notch with a great welcome. Brilliant trip fairplay

Fantastic routes and great centre to stay!

Just come back from doing cloverleaf. Wow it’s brill. Definitely doing it again. asap.

Great routes including some of the narrower singletrack sections which I’d never have discovered myself, but was delighted to explore (e.g. Glen Orchy). I knew I was off to a good start having enjoyed the Peebles leg of the southern route – a great way to enter Scotland without the usual tedious motorway slog. My favourite route was the western route (lochs and glens in glorious sunshine), though Glenshee on the northern loop was also fantastic. The eastern ride is more of a traditional Sunday blast through a tamer agricultural Scotland (cereal fields, lush pasture and soft fruit farms – cranachan country!) to which I added a fish & chip detour to Anstruther. Even though I was there over a bank holiday weekend, I was surprised at the relative lack of traffic, even through Glencoe where the car parks were busy. Fewer numpties in hired motorhomes with no idea what a passing place is for, as compared with the NC500.

Excellent will be recommending it to all my biker friends

I’ve been up here for a few days now – fabulous roads, glorious scenery, wonderful people.
Check out the Crieff Cloverleaf website and get yourself up here if you can.

Just come back from a brilliant long weekend… Managed to cover a few of the Cloverleaf tours and ad-libbed a few of our own as well. The Crieff Cloverleaf Tour site is absolutely brilliant and well thought out, the routes are fantastic just wish we would have had more time to do them all. We will definitely use the site again…

Just come from Scotland and done the clover awesome roads epic scenery

We did the West and North. Excellent routes.

Done as a group tour with Yorvik Vikings TOMCC loved every minute and will return next year to do more routes.

The North route was the best 230 odd miles of A & B roads that I have ridden in the UK and could have been created just for motorbikes add to that super weather and NO traffic…… A very creative and well planned out route by the team at Crieff. Everybody should try this route/ride at least once in their life. The last 23m from Aberfeldy to Crieff….. awesome!! That’s why I have booked last week in May next year.

Just spent four days riding the Crieff Cloverleaf routes easy known the concept was thought up by a biker with amazing routes that will satisfy everyone’s level of riding ability. We stayed with Nick and Aileen who I can’t recommend highly enough who spoilt us with the amazing breakfasts and comfortable rooms. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic concept and execution the Cloverleaf is. Just got back from 4 days there… My only disappointment is that I didn’t allow more days to do more of the tours, but I can confirm that the North and West tours are brilliant. The GPX files and waypoints make the whole experience easier too. Highly recommended.

Just done the North and West route, all I can say is Superb

Highly recommend this – did it earlier this month. A great idea and great roads and scenery.

Brilliant routes. For bikers of all ages and types of machines.

Just spent four days riding the cloverleaf routes, enjoyed good weather and all routes were excellent particularly North and West, highly recommended. The routes have a good proportion of B roads, single track with passing places (this means a little gravel) so take it steady.

Great routes, particularly off the main roads. Did some Little Leaf days with buddies from university days.
Coming from South England, I overnighted on Friday in Darlington, then started the trip off with a spin through Kielder Forest, before going over the hills to Moffat to commence with the northbound leg of the south loop.
Did West and North runs on dry & sunny days. East run had low cloud, which made the run round to Perth somewhat damp. Last day was the South loop, south direction. As a slight enhancement I included the road from Comrie to Braco, then deviated around Carron Water, before picking up the route south to Moffat. Using the old road (B7076) to Moffat kept me out of the spray on the A74. On way south, deviated at Penrith to try the Hartside pass route, as recommended by Ride – it was v. wet !
Got back home with an extra 1750 miles in a week.
Great fun.

The Cloverleaf tour is brilliant it has a bit of everything in there road wise. The north route and west route were my favourite with some of the best roads and scenery I’ve ever seen. And the Fir Free b & b was second to none with Aileen and Nick amazing hosts. Loved the fresh scones after every ride and the breakfast choices. Would love to return one day.

Absolutely cracking set of routes. All types of roads from fast sweepers to single track back roads and everything in-between. Add the brilliant scenery into the mix and you just can’t go wrong. Most of the roads were not particularly busy (last week of August) though there was a bit more traffic on the western route than the others, as might be expected. Congratulations to all concerned. We will be back again!

Just got back from a 4 night stay while riding the Crieff Cloverleaf (which was amazing).

This was the first time visiting Crieff and we loved it. We wanted to explore this area on our motorbike and we fell in love with the stunning views and excellent roads on the doorstep.

Excellent Routes on Breathtaking Roads. Visited Crieff after reading about it on social media… The Cloverleaf routes were excellent … can not wait to return.

Brilliant!!! Lovely roads with cracking scenery. The surprise goody bag on arrival at b&b a nice touch. Would definitely recommend the whole experience to anyone looking to get away from it all!

Just got back from four days on the Crieff Cloverleaf tour, all I can say is the whole experience was superb & so enjoyable. The routes were a good mix of roads without lots of traffic, whoever sorted these routes did a cracking job & deserves a big pat on the back. Our base for our stay was through the RoomLink. The hosts were so welcoming & the hospitality, food, cleanliness & facilities second to none. We will no doubt be returning for another visit in the future & cannot recommend it highly enough.

I was on a motorcycle trip touring Scotland and used Crieff as a base to explore the fantastic roads local to Crieff.

The Cloverleaf was a fantastic 5 days. Many thanks.

Just returned from a fantastic few days in Crieff… The routes are well planned and take you on great biking roads you would never have found on your own… Will be returning next year.

A very pretty, warm and welcoming town which has amazing day rides on excellent roads leading out in all directions. All rides are well thought out and have a great mix of roads and recommended stops to enjoy the spectacular scenery and great food the area has to offer. Well done for putting them together. It’s great having a central point to stay and ride from so you don’t need to pack up each day.

Just spent 6 fantastic days over at Crieff. We did some fantastic routes, some of the Cloverleaf routes and some other routes as well! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Did the west route yesterday, absolutely brilliant way to spend a day on the bike. Had just about everything.

Thanks for posting the routes. It was your ‘interview’ with Nathan Millward that drew your site to my attention. I’ve just spent the last 4 days doing all 4 main routes. No need for speed just being at peace on the bike! Thanks again!

Well what can I say, probably the best 4 days I have had riding my bike with the wife doing the Cloverleaf tour…

We started with the East leaf run, fab roads lots of vistas, although the route misses out St Andrews we decided to stop for a break and coffee, well worth seeing without all the golf fanatics. We then embarked on the South route. A ride into Stirling is well worth it and a drive past the Kelpies (better in the evening when lit up apparently). The roads throughout the Borders were very quiet. The next day on to the West route, well what can I say, stunning roads, stunning ride, stunning views!!!! So much to see and do I could write an essay but I’ll let you make your own minds up, defo a must do. Then the last but best route (in my opinion) again too much good stuff to mention, the ride [North] over and around the Cairngorm national park is truly amazing.

We did the NC500 3 years ago and I personally think that the Cloverleaf is much better.

I did it earlier this year, brilliant rides and routes…

This really is the best B&B I have ever stayed in, better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at […] the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them, you were spoilt for choice at breakfast and on returning after a good day’s riding you are greeted with a choice of tea, coffee and home made scones, perfect.

Just finished the Cloverleaf myself, excellent time had with excellent weather to boot.

We were a group of 6 on a motorbike holiday – was great that the B&B had its own back area to park – and gated – really nice place – one of the best B&B i have stayed in – Aileen and Nick are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel very welcome – the rooms are very clean and comfortable would not hesitate to stay there again.

Six of us stayed for 6 nights whilst we explored the routes and more of the Crieff Cloverleaf motorcycle tours. […] Crieff is a great location to be based in to explore some of the best roads that Scotland has to offer for those on two wheels. There is a good selection of restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes. The only downside is for those of us trying to watch our weight, the food portions are massive in this part of Scotland!

We had a great trip as well[…] The runs were well thought out and on good road surfaces. We will be back sometime to do it again.

Such good riding roads and you don’t need to get on a ferry. Just get on your bike and ride North. Fantastic trip.

I have just got home from having completed the E, W and N, with a bit of the south on the way out. The routes were brilliant with a good mix of twisty back roads and long sweeping faster stretches… All of the roads were in good condition and the setting they are in is simply stunning. The accommodation was fantastic, starting on arrival being greeted with a puck to use. The attention to detail was brilliant. This is something I would like to be able to do again…

Did the N W S rides last week, great fun some amazing roads we will be back to ride them again. Well done to the organisers that set these routes out.

Just completed three days on Cloverleaf E W and N. Congratulations to the organisers for a great three days.

Excellent hotel, stayed for 3 nights as was completing the Cloverleaf motorcycle tours. Very friendly couple & made us feel exceptionally welcome. Breakfast was exactly what I needed before a long ride. […] When I do it all again this is the first hotel I will call for availability.

Beautiful place and hosts are 2nd to none! […] Soooo glad we ended up staying here instead of the previous place we were going to book. […]Parking off the road is ideal, and safe for the motorbikes […] If you’re contemplating the Cloverleaf route or even just wanting a great friendly place to base yourself for seeing the amazing scenery and roads.. book this. Simple as. Seriously fantastic […] made us both question why we ever bothered staying elsewhere before… or camping!

The accommodation was superb and the breakfast kept us going all day, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend a stay here and will be revisiting next time I’m in the area.

I completed the Cloverleaf last week, brilliant four days riding. […] Rode my trusty Honda Pan-European 1300. Well worth it, whoever came up with the routes, thank you.

Done the Crieff Cloverleaf?
